Last Friday, ALLEYCVT made her anticipated debut at Washington, D.C.’s legendary 9:30 Club, delivering a night of relentless energy, heartfelt moments, and pure sonic bliss. Known for the trifecta of singing, producing, and DJing, ALLEYCVT has been rising through the EDM ranks, and this performance highlighted her artistry and connection with her audience.
Originally from Northern Virginia, ALLEYCVT started her fall “Feel It” tour at the end of September and has unleashed infectious energy across the country ever since. With adrenaline-pumping tracks, she immediately got the crowd jumping and headbanging from the rail all the way back to the sound booth. Her ability to seamlessly transition between heavy drops and euphoric melodies kept the energy in the room electric all night long.
For ALLEYCVT, this show was more than just another stop on her tour—it was a homecoming. Between tracks, she shared an emotional moment with the crowd: “I can’t tell you how much this means, I used to go to raves here all the time. This is my hometown.” The significance of playing at the 9:30 Club for the first time was palpable, and the crowd responded with cheers of support.
The setlist featured a mix of fan favorites and personal tributes. A particularly moving one was her beautiful track “STRATOSPHERE,” written recently in memory of her grandmother who passed away. “This one goes out to anyone who’s lost someone,” she said.
ALLEYCVT didn’t hold back from exploring all angles of emotion, and some other crowd favorites were her tracks “BACK2LIFE” and “ONE FOR YOU.” The night also featured her hit collaboration with Zingara, “REMEMBER ME?” which added an extra layer of powerful goddess energy to the evening.
The mood through the crowd was empowered, uplifted, and united. Fans gathered together to dance and be silly as mosh pits formed, and people cleared space on the floor for a line of rowing. Moments like these encapsulate her ability to create a space that’s simultaneously wild and welcoming.
ALLEYCVT crafts songs that are not just catchy but deeply personal, giving fans something to connect with beyond the bass drops and breakdowns. Her performance at the 9:30 Club showcased her talent as both a singer/songwriter, producer and a performer, leaving no doubt that she’s a force to be reckoned within the electronic music scene.
As the night came to a close, it was clear this wasn’t just a show for ALLEYCVT—it was a milestone and full circle moment. After the show, she returned to greet and talk to fans who stayed around. For those lucky to witness it, it was an unforgettable night at one of D.C.’s most iconic venues.
