Diva Bleach releases “The City”
By Dulce Naranjo
Sparkly pop-rock band Diva Bleach from Phoenix Arizona just released a new song called The City.
The song has a great indie pop rock sound filled with electric sounds that fuel you with feelings. You may feel like you’re riding a motorcycle through your nearest big city and running away from it and everything. It’s like you’re time traveling between a train of bittersweet thoughts battling your past that got you here and the unknown of the future that awaits you. You are ready to leave everything behind to start a new life and go out to the world to live your dreams.
“You think I'm going insane. I think I’m just fine. You say I’m out of my brain. I’m out of my mind.”
Their lyrics are profound and beautiful. When you are trying to make your dream happen people often think you’re insane and won’t make it. But even if you are out of your mind, if what you’re doing is making you happy and filling you up with adrenaline you should embrace it.
“Go back to school where we first met.”
The band formed by members Brie Gritter, Sara Windom (guitarists) and Sydney Roten (bassist and vocalist) first formed during the pandemic. However the members have known each other for a long time and have been friends over the years. They’ve all been studying music together at the same school, from a very young age. Though the trio only came together in 2020 to form Diva Bleach, they are already touring with bands like Sundressed Telltale.
“I don’t think I’ll make it back to The City”
These girls have big talent. Right now they’re the next big thing in pop rock for Phoenix. Diva Bleach has the potential to conquer the world and any city they want to make it out to with their amazing sparkly pop rock sound. Sound that could soundtrack an indie or 90s-2000s movie and now your own life by streaming The City.
