Rock band FELICITY released their new Pop-Rock single, “Lovesick Blues”! This song encapsulates a nostalgic vibe and an infectious melody. Definitely adding this track to our list of love song anthems!

I love how “Lovesick Blues” has a vibrant and energetic pop rock sound! What inspired you guys to want to take this direction for this song, compared to some of your other songs that have a metal sound?

The inspiration for this really was the fact that we’ve never written a true love song before, let alone something as mainstream sounding and “poppy” as this before. We’re always trying to strive to challenge ourselves to be better than we were before, and a mark of strong musicianship is being able to get out of your comfort zone and venture into new territory. We focused heavily on what elements make an accessible pop song, and we believe “Lovesick Blues” did just that.

Just for fun, what’s one of your favorite love songs?

“Your Love” by The Outfield.

What upcoming projects can your listeners look forward to?

We have an entire release schedule of new music mapped out for the rest of the year going into 2025.
There’s a handful of shows being sorted at this time, just figuring out the logistics, but the two upcoming ones we’re extremely excited for are our first time playing Chicago on May 18th at the Cobra Lounge and then June 2nd for So, What?! Music Fest in Fort Worth, TX.
